B\u00e9ninois, fran\u00e7ais et britannique, s\u2019appuyant sur un riche parcours international, Emeryc Kpenou souhaite dor\u00e9navant apporter son exp\u00e9rience sur des projets qui impliquent directement l\u2019avenir du continent africain.<\/p>\n<p>Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 de Sciences Po Paris, Emeryc Kpenou d\u00e9bute au d\u00e9partement options de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale. Il rejoint ensuite \u00e0 Londres Cr\u00e9dit Suisse First Boston. En 1999, il entre chez ING Bank o\u00f9 il sera en charge des activit\u00e9s produits d\u00e9riv\u00e9s (taux d&#8217;int\u00e9r\u00eat et taux de changes) puis responsable des op\u00e9rations de couvertures de risques li\u00e9s aux financements structur\u00e9s : immobiliers, infrastructures, \u00e9nergies renouvelables. Au cours des vingt derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, il aura particip\u00e9 aux financements de nombreux projets embl\u00e9matiques \u00e0 travers le monde\u00a0: a\u00e9roports, chemins de fer, autoroutes, champs \u00e9oliens et solaires\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Emeryc Kpenou s\u2019est \u00e9galement investi dans la finance verte, la mise en place de solutions innovantes dans la gestion des cr\u00e9dits carbones, l\u2019optimisation des \u00e9nergies renouvelables ainsi que dans les financements li\u00e9s aux imp\u00e9ratifs du d\u00e9veloppement durable.<\/p>\n<p>Outre l\u2019apport unique de son exp\u00e9rience des march\u00e9s de capitaux et des financements structur\u00e9s, Emeryc Kpenou participera activement au d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019activit\u00e9 finance verte de SouthBridge.<\/p>\n<p>Pour l\u2019Afrique, continent de plus de 1,2 milliards d\u2019habitant v\u00e9ritablement sur la ligne de front, la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et la lutte contre les effets du r\u00e9chauffement climatique sont des enjeux cruciaux. He then joined Credit Suisse First Boston in London. In 1999, he moved to ING Bank where he oversaw derivatives activities (interest rates and foreign exchange rates) and responsible for hedging operations related to structured finance: real estate, infrastructure, renewable energy. Over the last twenty years, he has been involved in the financing of numerous emblematic projects around the world: real estate, airports, railroads, highways, wind and solar farms, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Overtime, Emeryc has also developed a keen interest in green finance, the implementation of innovative solutions in carbon credit management, renewable energy as well as financing related to sustainable development goals.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to bringing his unique experience in capital markets and structured finance, Emeryc will actively participate in the development of SouthBridge&#8217;s green finance operations.<\/p>\n<p>For Africa, a continent of more than 1.2 billion people that is truly on the front line, the energy transition and fight against the effects of global warming are crucial issues.
