In an interview with La Tribune Afrique, Frannie Leautier, CEO of SBI shared an analysis of the effects of financial innovation on african economies’ growth.
Reviewing the latest developments in the sector, she discussed how new financial solutions have impacted economies on the continent as well as the challenges and opportunities brought on by innovative financing.
According to Frannie, financial innovation can help Africa increase the volume of investments while maintaining tight control over debt levels.
She reaffirmed the critical role to be played by national and regional development banks and governments as supports of financial innovation.
