Experience

Caroline joined Southbridge in November 2019 as the Senior Director, Finance and Administration.

She has extensive experience in Audit, business advisory and consulting gained within world-renowned audit and consulting firms. Caroline started her career in audit and assurance services at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Kenya in 2002. She led and supervised the execution of audits of blue chip listed and private companies, international donor agencies, donor funded projects, non-governmental organizations and government ministries. She is an expert in International Audit Standards (IAS), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), United States Government Accounting and Government Auditing Standards (US GAGAS).

Prior to joining Southbridge, as an Associate Partner and Director at HLB CEZAM in Kenya, Caroline deployed and ushered in a new business model, built new and important strategic partnerships with HLB International as well as improved and stabilized business operations and organizational processes.

Caroline holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Moi University in Eldoret, Kenya. She holds postgraduate diplomas from Strathmore University in the Management of Information Systems, Management of Data Processing and Enterprise Development. She holds a certificate in Corporate Governance awarded by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and is a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).
