Hemal has over twenty years experience in investment management and advisory, covering multiple asset classes across listed and private markets. He previously worked for some of the world’s largest asset owners, investment managers and global banks. Hemal’s role is to oversee portfolio management and research activities at SouthBridge Investments, and to represent SouthBridge in ongoing dialogues with clients and prospective clients.
Experience
Hemal joined SouthBridge in February 2022 as Chief Investment Officer of SouthBridge Investments. He has over 23 of experience across investment management and advisory, covering multiple asset classes across listed and private markets. Hemal previously worked for some of the world’s largest asset owners, investment managers and banks in Africa and Europe.
Hemal’s role is to oversee portfolio management and research activities at SouthBridge Investments, and to represent SouthBridge in ongoing dialogues with clients and prospective clients.
Hemal started his career in actuarial consulting in South Africa.
